Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, for what purposes and on what legal basis we process it, with whom we may share it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. Data is processed in accordance with the Serbian Personal Data Protection Act ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 87/2018).

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

We only collect data that you voluntarily provide or that is generated through your use of the site:

Newsletter signup: email address.
Contact form: name, email address, practice name (optional) and message content.
Analytics data (only with your consent): site usage data such as a truncated (anonymized) IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and traffic source.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process your data for clearly defined purposes and on an appropriate legal basis under Article 12 of the Act:

Handling your inquiries and messages sent through the contact form — based on your consent, given by checking the box on the form.
Sending the newsletter about AI tools in dentistry — based on the consent you give when subscribing.
Measuring traffic and improving the site — based on the consent you give through the cookie notice.

Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential cookies and local storage for basic functionality — remembering your language choice, your cookie choice and content access. These cookies are necessary for the site to work and cannot be disabled.

With your consent we also use Google Analytics for traffic statistics. Analytics cookies load only when you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you choose "Decline" or do not respond, analytics is not activated. You can change your choice later by clearing cookies in your browser.

5. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Your data may be processed on our behalf and under our instructions by trusted service providers (processors):

Google (Google Analytics) — website traffic statistics.
Resend — sending emails and managing the newsletter list.
Hosting provider — technical hosting and delivery of the site.

If you contact us via the WhatsApp button, your message is transmitted through the WhatsApp platform (Meta Platforms), subject to that platform's terms.

6. International data transfers

Some processors (e.g. Google and Resend) may process data on servers outside the Republic of Serbia, including the United States. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with Articles 63–69 of the Act, applying appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses and data anonymization/pseudonymization).

7. Data retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: inquiry data — for the duration of our communication and a reasonable period afterwards; newsletter data — until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe). Once the period expires or consent is withdrawn, we permanently delete or anonymize the data.

8. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or misuse — including encrypted data transfer via HTTPS and restricted access to data.

9. Your rights

Under the Act, you have the following rights regarding your data at any time:

Right of access — to learn whether and what data we process about you.
Right to rectification and completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
Right to restriction of processing.
Right to data portability.
Right to object to processing.
Right to withdraw consent at any time.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your data is being processed in breach of regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection: Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, 11120 Belgrade, Republic of Serbia; www.poverenik.rs.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect regulatory or site changes. Any change is published on this page with an updated date at the top.
